1) Select [Report] on the top of the chatroom.
2) You can select up to 3 messages for reporting on the Report Message page.
3) Select [Report] at the bottom.
4) Check ‘I agree’ on the Report pop-up.
5) Select [OK].
[Important!]
• The reported message will be sent to a relevant Kakao team, and the reported person will be blocked.
• The related chatroom and conversations will be deleted. Please make sure to capture any conversation you need to store in advance.
[Other]
• If the reported person is on your Friends list, please remove him/her from the list and then report the message.
• Please see here to check if KakaoTalk Operation Policy is violated.
1) Select ‘this link’ in the guidance on the top of the chatroom.
2) You can select up to 3 messages for reporting on the Report Message page.
3) Select [Report] at the bottom.
4) Check ‘I agree’ on the Report pop-up.

• You can report a message in a group chatroom only when both the person who invited you and the person who sent you the abusive message are not your friends.
• If any of the persons are on your Friends list, please remove him/her from the list and then report the message.

If you judge the profile of a stranger violates KakaoTalk Operation Policy, please report it according to the following steps. The complainant’s personal information will not be disclosed to the reported person to protect his/her privacy.
1) Select the profile of a person you want to report.
2) Select [Block].
3) Select [Block & report].
4) Check ‘I agree to report this profile’ on the Report Profile page.
5) Select [Complete].
[Important!]
• The abusive profile information will be sent to a relevant Kakao team when you report, and the reported person will be blocked.

• If the reported person is on your Friends list, please remove him/her from the list and then report the profile.

If you judge a Live Talk clip hosted by a person who is not your friend in a group chatroom to which a stranger invited you violates KakaoTalk Operation Policy, please report it according to the following steps. The complainant's personal information will not be disclosed to the reported person to protect his/her privacy.
1) Select the warning light icon at the right bottom corner of the Live Talk screen.
2) Check 'I agree' on the Report pop-up.
3) Select [Report].
[Important!]
• A part of the Live Talk content will be sent to a relevant Kakao team, and the Live Talk host and the person who invited you will be blocked.
• The related chatroom and conversations will be deleted. Please make sure to capture any conversation you need to store in advance.

• If the reported person is on your Friends list, please remove him/her from the list and then report the profile.

1) Select [Report] at the right bottom of the Talk Calendar Event.
2) Check ‘I agree to report the event’ on the Report Event page.
3) Select [Report].

• The event will be deleted from My Calendar, the person who invited you will be blocked, and you will receive no more invitations from him/her.

◼ Report a post
1) Select ‘...’ on the top right corner of the post.
2) Select [Report].
3) Check ‘Reasons for Reporting’ on the Report page.
4) Select [Complete].
◼ Report a comment
1) Select '...' on the right side of the comment.
2) Select [Report].
3) Check 'Reasons for Reporting' on the Report pop-up.
4) Select [Complete].

• Note that you may be restricted to use the service if you file a false report.

◼ If you want to stay in the chatroom after reporting
1) Select [Quit Chatting & Report] on the reported person’s profile page.
2) Select [Quit Chatting & Report].
3) You can select up to 5 messages for reporting on the Report Message page.
4) Select [Report] at the bottom.
5) Check ‘Reasons for Reporting’ on the Report pop-up.
6) Select [Complete].
[Important!]
• The reported message will be sent to a relevant Kakao team.
• The reported person will not be allowed to participate or chat in the Open Chat.

◼ If you want to leave the chatroom after reporting
1) Open Side Menu on the right side of the chatroom and select Report & Leave.
2) You can select up to 5 messages for reporting on the Report Message page.
3) Select [Report] at the bottom.
4) Check ‘Reasons for Reporting’ on the Report pop-up.
5) Select [Complete].
[Important!]
• The reported message will be sent to a relevant Kakao team.
• You can no longer participate in this Open Chat, your conversations will be deleted, and the chatroom will disappear from the Chats list.

◼︎ If you want to remove the reported person in the chatroom after reporting
1) Select [Remove & Report] on the reported person’s profile screen.
2) Select [Remove & Report].
3) You can select up to 5 messages for reporting on the Report Message page.
4) Select [Report] at the bottom.
5) Check ‘Reasons for Reporting’ on the Report pop-up.
6) Select [Complete].

• The reported message will be sent to a relevant Kakao team.
• The reported person will not be allowed to participate or chat in the Open Chat.

◼︎ If you want to hide the reported message after reporting
1) Right-click the chat bubble you want to hide.
2) Select [Hide] and then [Hide & Report] below.
3) Check ‘Reasons for Reporting’ on the Report pop-up.
4) Select [Complete].

◼︎ If you want to stay in the chatroom after reporting other participant(s)
1) Select [Block] on the reported person’s profile screen.
2) Select [Block & Report].
3) You can select up to 5 messages for reporting on the Report Message page.
4) Select [Report] at the bottom.
5) Check ‘Reasons for Reporting’ on the Report pop-up.
6) Select [Complete].
[Important!]
• You can report the host only by leaving the chatroom. Please refer to ‘How to report the host or other participants’ below.
• The reported message will be sent to a relevant Kakao team.
• Every message from this participant will be blocked. You are unable to cancel what you reported after reporting.

◼ If you want to leave the chatroom after reporting the host or other participant(s)
1) Open the Side Menu on the right side of the chatroom and select the Report & Leave menu.
2) You can select up to 5 messages for reporting on the Report Message page.
3) Select [Report] at the bottom.
4) Check ‘Reasons for Reporting’ on the Report pop-up.
5) Select [Complete].

• The reported message will be sent to a relevant Kakao team.
• You can no longer participate in this Open Chat, your conversations will be deleted, and the chatroom will disappear from the Chats list.
