I didn't restore my chat history when signing up for KakaoTalk. Is there a way I can restore it?
You will not be able to restore your chat history after completing the sign-up. Please make sure you log in with your Kakao Account when you sign up for KakaoTalk in order to restore your chat history.
If you already have your backup file ready to go, you'll be able to restore your chat history when signing up.
* Please note that you only have 14 days from the time you backed up your chats to restore it to KakaoTalk. After 14 days it will be too late.
