[Read Mail] How do I read emails written in a foreign language?
There may be an issue with the email's encoding setting if you are unable to read your Kakao Mail.
Try the following if you are unable to read an email in a foreign language.
1. Go to the Read Mail screen and select [More] at the upper right side.
2. Select [Language Settings].
3. Go to the browser's "View" menu > "Encoding" and change the encoding setting to the language the email was written in.
The encoding setting can also be changed in the browser.
#. Follow the steps below to change the encoding setting in Internet Explorer.
1. Go to "View" and select "Encoding".
2. Select the appropriate encoding from the provided options.
#. Follow the steps below to change the encoding setting in Chrome.
1. Go to "View" and select "Encoding".
2. Select the appropriate encoding from the provided options.
#. Follow the steps below to change the encoding setting in Firefox.

1. Go to "View" at the top of the browser and select "Text Encoding".
2. Select the appropriate encoding from the provided options.
